Linggo ng Parangal

With the Oblation in the background, the acclaimed children’s choir the UP Cherubim and Seraphim render a musical number at the Scouts Parade formally opening the campus’ week-long recognition of excellence and outstanding achievement. Linggo ng Parangal has three major programs, namely: Parangal sa mga Mag-Aaral, to be held on Wednesday, 8 a.m. on February 25 at Ang Bahay ng Alumni; Parangal sa Mga Retirado at Gawad Paglilingkod to be held on Thursday, 2.p.m. at the Abelardo Hall Auditorium; and the plum prize—the Gawad Chanselor, to be staged at the NISMED Auditorium at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 27.
Organized by the UP Integrated School and the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Community Affairs, the Scout’s Parade featured the Kab, Star, Junior and Senior Boy and Girl Scouts with UPIS principal Dr. Aurora C. Zuniga and Edgardo Jimenez, Kabalikat president. Meanwhile, in the early morning mist at the Lagoon, classes under the College of Human Kinetics conducted a free aerobics session.
