Examinations for admission and scholarship to the UP Information Technology Training Center (UP ITTC) at UP Diliman will be held on March 21, 8 a.m. at the UP College of Engineering Library II. Deadline for registration is on March 18.
UP-ITTC offers full-time information technology training courses with the following specialization tracks: Applications Development, Network Systems, and Mobile Computing and Embedded Systems.
Admission and scholarship examinations are conducted annually at the UPD campus and in various areas outside the National Capital Region. Below is the full examination schedule:
March 7, 8 a.m.: Butuan
March 9, 8 a.m.: Cagayan de Oro
March 28, 8 a.m.: Baguio at UP Baguio ( tentative)
April 4, 8 a.m.: Isabela, University of La Salette (tentative)
April 4, 8 a.m.: Bicol, Ateneo de Naga University (tentative)
April 5, 1 p.m.: Legazpi City at Bicol University (tentative)
April 16, 8 a.m.: Tacloban
Qualified enrollees include college graduates of Computer Science and IT-related courses and graduates of other courses who possess high aptitude for IT and have been aspiring to become part of the IT industry.
UP ITTC full-time students get to take Japanese language lessons daily to prepare for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) Levels 3 and 4. They are also primed for the PhilNITS Fundamental Engineer (FE) examinations held bi-annually, every April and October.
